【1 Day Event – 28 Oct Etajima Fireworks Festival!】
Summer is over, but you can still enjoy fireworks here in Etajima next to Kure city!
Let me introduce Etajima, firstly. Etajima is an island in Hiroshima Bay located in southwestern Hiroshima Prefecture.
Etajima is now a popular tourist spot. Reachable in 25 minutes by speedboat from Ujina in Hiroshima, 10 minutes by ferry from Kure.
The attraction of Etajima is the marine sports that can be enjoyed in the calm Seto Inland Sea. Canoeing, SUP, jet, wakeboarding, and fishing are especially popular.
The Etajima Autumn Festival will be held on Etajima Island.
There will be ceremonies and stage performances at the First Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Academy.
And for the final event, on Saturday, October 28th, after sunset, 2,100 fireworks will be launched into the autumn night sky!
