[1 Day Event – Kure Food Festival]
After a four-year pause, the Kure Food Festival is being held on Kuramoto-dori in Kure. Savor Kure’s famous hoso udon (thin udon noodles) and other delicacies like meat and potato stew. You can also buy other local specialties goods. Be sure not to miss it!
About hoso udon
Kure is a port town. This trait led residents to make this udon as a quick and delicious dish for those who were short on time. This became one of Kure’s specialties! Its soup is rich but light enough to leave you wanting another bowl. Don’t miss it!
