[1-Day Event: Join the Setouchi “Wine & Food Festival” in Mihara]
Three wineries in the Setouchi area are collaborating to hold the Wine & Food Festival as the first event of the Traveling Grapes Connecting Project. All of the project’s inaugural wines are new releases being unveiled for the first time on November 19.
To join this wine and food event, simply purchase a ticket. The head chef at Azumi Setoda on Ikuchi Island, Chef Akita, is preparing the food for the event.

Each winery has prepared a wine that goes well with something from the Setouchi region.
Omishima Minnano Winery: a perfect match for the sunsets in Setouchi
Setouchi JOZOJO Winery: an excellent pair for Setouchi-style Japanese cuisine
Yamanokyo Ota Winery: a wonderful pair for vegetables grown in Setouchi
Each wine has been crafted to be enjoyed daily and evokes the scenic beauty of the Setouchi region.
Original wine labels with designs that bring to mind nostalgic Japanese train tickets have been created for this collaborative project to showcase the wineries’ joint effort.

I got a taste of Takehara Campbell Early, which won a gold medal at the 2023 Hong Kong Washu Awards. The vibrant colors are really too beautiful!
The gorgeous aroma of the wine smelled like roses, and the taste was refreshing.
