[Seasonal Event: Only in November] Taste the Apple Festival at Hiroshima Station Bakery

Recommended for foodies!

Established three years after the atomic bombing, Hiroshima Andersen is a bakery where locals have created delicious items to bring joy to everyone in Hiroshima. Today, the bakery is renowned in Japan with a massive fan base.

Hiroshima Andersen is hosting its Apple Festival in November only. Adopting the Danish pesticide-free cultivation model, the bakery owns its own unique farm in Kita-Hiroshima, Hiroshima. Harvested fruit is used in breads, cakes, juices, and even wines.

This year’s event offers delicious bread made with apples grown in and harvested from local orchards, only available for a limited time at the store. The breads are baked with a farmer’s bread dough, soaked with syrup and wrapped around apples. Enjoy fragrant, crispy crusts surrounding a moist dough interior that houses delightful and subtly sweet apples.

Savor delicious apples this season as you eat apple-infused bread, when you visit Hiroshima Andersen, an iconic Japanese bakery!

Event dates: November 1, 2023, to November 30, 2023
Location: Hiroshima Station 2F, Hiroshima Andersen
