[Coming-of-Age-Day Event—Helping Young Adults Make their Sake Debut at Kamotsuru Sake Brewery (Saijo, Higashi-Hiroshima)]

Saijo in Hiroshima is one of Japan’s three major sake brewery towns, along with Fushimi in Kyoto and Nada in Hyogo.

Helping Young Adults Make their Sake Debut at Kamotsuru Sake Brewery: The First Cup of Daiginjo
Includes a complimentary* glass of a daiginjo (the highest grade of sake) recommended by Kamotsuru Sake Brewing Co. At this time of year, you are likely to see many young adults dressed in traditional kimonos because communities in Japan will hold Coming of Age Day celebrations for young adults turning 20.

Kamotsuru Sake Brewing Co.

These ceremonies welcoming young people into adulthood are usually celebrated on the second Monday of January (January 8 this year).

From Friday, January 5, 2024, to Wednesday, January 31, 2024, KAMOTSURU Sake Brewery hopes that new 20-year-olds enjoy an unforgettable first taste of sake. To make that first glass of sake a most memorable experience, Kamotsuru Sake Brewing Co. will offer a complimentary glass of their recommended daiginjo. This daiginjo has a delightful aroma perfect for a festive occasion. It can be enjoyed alone or with friends and family. Join in to enjoy your first taste of sake at a brewery!**

Anne

Konnichiwa! My name is Anne.
I live in a port town called Kure City, 40 minutes by car from Hiroshima City.
We have many beautiful islands. There is an abundance of seafood and fruits.
The place is surrounded by sea and mountains. You can experience walking on narrow streets, hiking on mountains and even climbing stairs.
Strolling around the town is also enjoyable.
You will surely find your own Seto Inland Sea trip here!
