Traveling exhibit from the Hoki Museum: must-see Realism in Okayama
If you like art, this exhibit is highly recommended. The artwork in this exhibit are on loan from the Hoki Museum in Chiba Prefecture, and this is the second time that exhibits from the museum have traveled to Okayama. The exhibit has been carefully curated to include pieces showcasing landscapes, still life paintings, and portraits that are so realistic that they look like photographs.
I saw the first exhibit that came to Okayama in 2020, and was so amazed by the quality and technical skill of the artworks that I jumped at the chance to see this second show.

I'm from the U.S.A., but I've lived longer in Okayama. I'm a sake sommelier, certified by the Sake Sommelier Association in London. I love traveling in Japan, beautifully presented food and desserts, great art, taking photos, hiking and walking, visiting gardens, and spending time with family and friends.
