Experience Traditional Japanese Archery in Hiroshima

Experience Traditional Japanese Archery in Hiroshima

You can experience archery at a mini archery range where the distance to the target is shorter than the usual 28 meters.

Children aged 5 to older adults, experienced archers or those those with no experience can experience the fun, excitement, exhilaration, and difficulty of Kyudo archery, a traditional Japanese martial art. There are few places where you can experience archery in Japan, so it is a rare experience.

You can shoot about 60 arrows. Look great on social media with the bodice on as you pose while shooting an arrow. Make a good memory of your trip.

A 3-minute walk from the Atomic Bomb Dome, with good access.

Plan
(1) Program explanation and wearing Kyudo archery clothing/hakama
(2) Kyudo, explanation of tools and wearing tools / demonstration
(3) Lecture, shooting experience
(4) Commemorative photo and bodice, putting on and taking off tools, original sticker presentation

All-you-can-shoot

You can shoot about 60–80 arrows while wearing a bodice and hakama. While difficult at first, you will start having fun as you concentrate on drawing the bow! Feel the excitement and exhilaration when you hit your target.
