Yakagecho is a new tourist destination in Okayama. The area was registered as an important preservation district for traditional buildings on December 23, 2020.
In Yakage, you can try on a kimono at the Taisho-Roman Kan, which was renovated from an old house built about 100 years ago. The location opened in November 2022.
