[View the Seto Inland Sea from Mt. Yasumiyama! (Kure)]
The view is especially spectacular within the Seto Inland Sea National Park, offering a great vantage point to appreciate the beauty of the archipelago.
Scattered along the mountain, the Kyuzan mountain trail connects the 497-meter peak of the mountain to Ondo no Seto.
You can see the islands from this beautiful scenic spot, and spot the many ships passing by as they leave behind white wakes.
Kure is renowned for its sloping terrain, and further up the slope is Mount Yasumiyama.
The mountain offers a wonderful view and serves as a place of relaxation for many people, particularly the locals.
Mount Yasumiyama can be accessed from either the Miyahara area or Ondo.
The view during the day is beautiful, and the nighttime view is equally stunning. On a clear day, you can see as far as Shikoku.
Location: Miyaharacho and Agacho, Kure

Set sail on a cruise and get an up-close view of mighty ships (duration: about 30 minutes)! The evening cruise that departs at sunset is also highly recommended.

Konnichiwa! My name is Anne.
I live in a port town called Kure City, 40 minutes by car from Hiroshima City.
We have many beautiful islands. There is an abundance of seafood and fruits.
The place is surrounded by sea and mountains. You can experience walking on narrow streets, hiking on mountains and even climbing stairs.
Strolling around the town is also enjoyable.
You will surely find your own Seto Inland Sea trip here!
