[Christmas Event] Christmas Market in the Garden of Hiroshima Andersen

Recommended For Those Who Want to Experience Christmas in Japan!

If you’re looking to experience the charm of a Japanese Christmas, we recommend a visit to Hiroshima Andersen‘s main bakery. Established just three years after the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, the bakery was founded with a simple mission, “To make delicious things to make everyone happy!”

On December 9 and 10, 2023, the Hiroshima Andersen main store will host a Christmas Market, offering a delightful opportunity for Christmas shopping and relaxation.

Adjacent to the bakery is Andersen’s outdoor area, Hygge Park, where illuminations have lit up the space since the November 1 (lights will continue from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily until February 14, 2024). The Christmas spirit is alive and well in Hiroshima!

The Christmas Market 2023 in Hygge Park (December 9 and 10) draws inspiration from Danish culture, encouraging visitors to enjoy the days leading up to Christmas with preparations and festivities. The market will feature miscellaneous items perfect for Christmas decorations and a variety of food options that can be enjoyed while you shop.

Inside the store, you’ll find wreaths, swag, and a selection of Christmas treats, including stollen bread, sweets, appetizers, sausages, and other bread. These items are perfect for an extravagant Christmas feast, gifting, and parties. (Note: Some products may also be available in the store on days before and after.)
